There’s a little creek in my neighborhood that I walk my dog along most days. I never knew until recently how big of a difference in my mood and happiness that being near the sound of running water imposes on my well being.

This piece is part of a 100 day challenge / series I did in 2017 called 100 Days of Bad Art. The idea was to find my way back into art by filling a page in my sketchbook every day. The result is an exercise in mindfulness, observation of the world around me, and a diary of sorts of life in that moment. Each piece is marked with the date and number in the series.
